this makes me laugh, cant even provide holiday pictures or mission pictures he took while he was helping, i know if i was out there helping id be trigger happy with my camera at every oppertunity..

that said now he is saying its for a charity with no website or details to confirm authenticity... hmmm.. charity registration number.. (but anyone can pick a number from a directory and call it theirs)

thirdly no description of how the funds are to be converted and what will be 'bought' with them. EG doesn't show knowledge of which suppliers to get food/vaccinations from..

fourthly.. most people think places like nairobi are like this: (poor kids without parents/food/medicine, or a combination of all three)

You don't have to donate fiat to get the tax break.  The same tax break is available for bitcoin as for fiat.  In fact, you can donate an old boat and claim that off your taxes too.  Donations don't have to be in fiat - they just have to be donations - to get a tax break.
