Decentralization, advanced encryption, 2FA, cold storage, rigorous access management — we keep your account and assets protected at all times.
Decentralization means FyreDEX is better protected from failure than other platforms. When a centralized exchange (CEX) is compromised, millions of dollars and thousands of users are impacted all at once. In a decentralized system, any attack or failure impacts only a single user and their funds. As a user, you are in control of your own security, which can be safer than trusting a centralized entity.
Hacking an individual user or an exchange incurs a fixed cost. The difference is the size of the reward. In most cases, a multi-million dollar bounty exists for compromising a CEX, so there would be very little benefit in attacking an individual account. Which means it’s unlikely a lot of effort would be put into hacking a single user’s account. As a user on the BitShares DEX, you are the only one with access to your funds, as only you hold the passwords and keys. Safeguarding your keys makes it virtually impossible for any thief to steal your funds.
Within any given company, multiple people usually have access to customer funds. As the old expression goes: “Three can keep a secret if two are dead”. Currently, centralized exchanges depend on multiple people who share the responsibility of guarding the secret key that controls the funds. If anyone of them is compromised, everyone’s funds are put at risk. Which means, being individually responsible for maintaining your own secrets is the safest option.

Why no ICO?Because we do not need it, we will organize a private sale and pre-sale for the early investors after that, we will sell anytime is needed the FDEX tokens on our DEX.
