Bitcoin will be used for certain things but not everything envisioned by Satoshi. Store of value and sending large amounts with low fees internationally, yes. For privacy and fast zero fee transactions of small purchases, no.

yeah, with the public ledger and how big bitcoin is right now its definitely not private. i think NANO definitely has a good chance to make itself the coin fr fast zero fee transactions, i've even heard they are trying to make it easy to do microtransactions.

Bitcoin is the father of all coins and inspired the other alts. However, if your coins are divided into many addresses and you never use an address twice I believe it is private enough. If the blockchain wasn't open Bitcoin would be probably a decentralized coin and this wasn't  Satoshi's vision. In my opinion, the fees are low enough if you use a segwit address, and some days even using the legacy addresses. If you still want lower addresses with Bitcoin, just wait for the lightning.
