Faucet owners need to fund the faucets somehow, how much lower claim would you be ok with to avoid the short links?
As a faucet owner it doesn’t matter one way or another to me, but take away the short links and the reward would be way down. And then people would complain about the reward being too low...
For a sustainable faucet operation you need to be able to make break even one way or another.

There are a few on my Faucet lists and my own Auto Faucet has no ads and no shortlinks...
