ETHER GAS FOR ETHEREUM TOKENS

No doubt ethereum project have come to stay with various tokens built on there platform and making it the most tokenized cryptocoin platform.
The token transactions pays heavy gas fees no matter how small the amount and value of the token, on the other hand it is not a must for anybody to use ethereum platform to create token.

Will ethereum platform be greater than this if they could allow tokens to set their own transaction fees paying through their tokens?

i dont think etherium platform will boom if they remove it as a transaction fee or gas in token transactions. not just in tokens but also in altcoins. Etherium does plays a major role in them because they wont be created at the first place without the help of etherium.

oh i forgot, waves is also another platform that can also be used in order to create such tokens and altcoins but it isnt popular as etherium.

Fees are high only when the network in overloaded. In most cases they are 2-3c and I can't call this expensive. You could get a live info here: https://ethgasstation.info

Good idea, but true Gon said. That ethereum network is often overloaded due to many ICO transactions. In the past, at least could use GWEI 0.1, but now more and more ICO transactions. Gwei at least be 1gwei.
if only the fee ethereum can use 0.1 gwei must be very frugal.

Ethreum gas fee is cheaper than the transaction fee on  bitcoins. If the token can be transferred with out the help of ethreum on the wallet. If the tokens can be send like that I would really happy move the tokens without the help of ethreum transferring the tokens to one wallet to another exchange.

Ethreum gas fee is cheaper than the transaction fee on  bitcoins. If the token can be transferred with out the help of ethreum on the wallet. If the tokens can be send like that I would really happy move the tokens without the help of ethreum transferring the tokens to one wallet to another exchange.

I do not often like us to compare ethereum with bitcoin in term of their transaction fees but i am sure you can imagine how much we all shall be paying in btc fees if btc should have tokens.

Not sure what you mean by allowing tokens to set their own transaction fees. You more or less can decide how much gas you want to pay by setting your gas price and limits, can even set it close to nothing if you are willing to risk waiting for days and weeks. You build a tokenized system on top of Ethereum, then you can't escape paying Ether. There's no way now to transfer tokens without it needing a transaction that needs miner confirmation. You want low fee or zero fees even? Got to use a completely different blockchain (check out DAG coins).

I think the fee taken from gas in the ethereum platform is fair. I doubt if the feature you say will not work optimally, because all the fees from the average token will be different and I think it will confuse.
