is there a "new thread"/new post function

that disregards whether I've read the thread or not?

I saw a thread earlier with no replies and read it so now obviously it won't show up in the unread posts list.

What I basically want is the latest threads in a chronological list that disregards whether I've read them or not.

They shouldn't be in bold if you have read them already and the little icon next to the board will show you if there is new topic/post.
