The worldcup next year will be in Russia, there is no doubt about that. I even think the WC in 2022 will be held in Qatar, even it is the most stupid idea ever. I have no problem with Russia hosting the worldcup, I am looking forward to the tournament.

I doubt that Russian will take away the right to host the world Cup 2018. Probably too late, but to boycott it can many countries. This blow to the image of Russia might be even worse than the deprivation of the right to vote.

Highly unlikely. If this was true there would be a lot of noise about this in the news.

Hmm i don't know, soccer and Blatter have always been corrupt, so what? I think it's kinda late to change the place for the next worldcup.
Nobody will carry World Cup 2018 from Russia. And зaчeм7 Stadiums are built, an infrastructure is prepared. Think, that changing nothing is not needed, all will pass at high level.

Nothing is going to happen if England and the United States boycott the world cup (I don't even think that these nations will manage to qualify for the main event). None of the major football powers will think about a boycott.

Most World Cups were awarded to those who gave most money to Blatter and his comrades. Russia and Qatar are no exceptions. They deserve to lose it.

Oh really? Then what about the 1994 Word Cup, which was conducted in the United States? Please note that football is not a popular sport in the United States, unlike the case with both Russia and Qatar.
We all know that FIFA is corrupted organisation. And now it's clear that previous tournaments in Germany and South Africa was awarded when these countries paid lot of money to Blatter. I'm sure that same situation with Russia and Qatar.
And you aren't right that football is not popular in USA, it's among top 4 most popular team sports.

Well, England already have almost guaranteed theirr place in world cup, USA is also in good positions. But you are right that nobody will boycott world cup

May be that was the case with the other nations, but the hosting of the world cup in South Africa was a part of FIFA's (and Blatter's) dream to popularize the sport in the continent of Africa. I don't think that money was involved in that decision.

According to reports, South Africa paid $10 million bribe to become host of World Cup 2010. And they offered more money than another African country Morocco.

Nothing of a surprise there. All the major sports events are purchased by the nations which can afford to spend good amounts of money to bribe the voters. This is true with the football world cup, and even the Olympics. That said, the hosting of the world cup in South Africa was widely considered as a success for the FIFA. It gave football major inroads in to the African continent.

I think that Confederations Cup showed that situation is OK, didn't it?
That's not going to happen, really, no one will win from that scenario Huh

All this talk about shifting the venue is pure nonsense. It is too late for any of that. At the most, a few of the nations will boycott the event, and these nations will later face fines and bans from the FIFA.

There is no chance Russia will lose the world cup, too much has been invested for this  event, if fifa decided to withdrawn Russia from host it will caused economy shake down for Russia. Russia is not a small player in this world, in my opinions they will do all the things necessary to make sure the mundial will still be happening this 2018.

The bidding process have faced corruption charges from the inception of the games and that will never prevent Russia from hosting the next footy world cup. They have held the confederation cup already and the only hind side for me was attendance because am pretty sure the Numbers we saw in South Africa and Brazil will not troop to Russia because of numerous reasons but all the same the tournament will go on as planned.

To add to the World Cup, the russian team has time still. There are few chances, but now we have august 2017. Nobody knows who will play in a year, who will be traumatized, against whom to play. We do not know anything, except for one thing: the russian team needs strength in order to count on at least some results.

Putin is unchanged in his vindictiveness; ex-colonel GRU Skripal residing in the UK, went to the hospital with his daughter. Doctors believe that this is the result of poisoning. The case of poisoning and its motives are very reminiscent of Putin's reprisal against Litvinenko.

Britain will respond decisively if it turns out that Russia is involved in the poisoning in Salisbury of the former GRU officer Sergei Skripal, British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson said.
He called the Kremlin "a malicious and destabilizing force," allowed stricter sanctions against Russia and even a refusal of British representation in the World Cup, which starts in Russia in three months. http://www.bbc.com/russian/news-43305035

There is only a few minor problems in this story: the now allegedly poisoned spy was already in Russian prisons and had then been pardoned and released by Putin, so it is not clear at all why he would years later want to kill him. Even less clear why he would want to do it in a way which would carry his signature, so that the world can blame him. One must be very dumb to believe something like that.
The fact is that this is just a setup which will be used to boycott the Russian Football championship.
