Masternode coins or old way of mining coins ?

Which coins do you perfer masternode coins or coins which is mined like bitcoin?
I like masternode coins I feel you can save the electric , you dont have to buy big machine of mining.
Thats my opinion what you guys think ?

Masternodes and mining are not mutually exclusive.

For example, Galactrum (ORE), which is a pretty new privacy currency with community governance, has masternodes AND mining. The masternodes split block rewards with miners @ 70/30.
