I've always heard such warnings. But it is hard to control myself where i get $275 without doing any work or taking part any bounty program. Now i want to know what kind of effect i may face ? does my mail address can hacked or my social id's that i used when joining any scam? Or any problem with my Ethereum Wallet ID ?

No matter, If i don't get this free money but It is horrible , if anything occurs with my Provided ID's .

You mean you provided ID's for that? But how come? Airdrops, giving email address, giving social media accounts etc. doesn't associated with ID's submissions or something. Or should I missed something here aside from what I mentioned?

Generally for:

- Email - As long as you control your own password, never accidentally put it on a phishing site or fall on a trap then you are safe.
- Social ID - same as above
- Ethereum Address - same as above

May we know  specifically what are these projects, ICO's etc. you are talking about where you received $275 without doing nothing?

We need a lot more information in order to give you some guidance!!
- Where did you get the money?
- What did you do to obtain it?
- Did you get it on a faucet, by investing on an ICO? How!!!

Every time you give your password to someone or you use your real cyber identity (meaning your facebook account with your family members and such, for instance); every time you use your current email address or the same password you daily use for other stuff, you are putting yourself in a risk. Even if you use your IP in websites of low confident ... well, then you can be hacked, of course.
But the point here is to give some information (never personal) to us, so we can tell you what to do. Meantime, there is no way to know what have you done or in what kind of peril do you are.

The only thing that they can hack you using your email is by sending you some phishing links. Many scammers are sending phishing link of Myetherwallet and binance  thru email. And also some group are collecting emails and selling it in Start up ICO.

As the same question above. Can you please give more details regarding the ID you submit. Is the ID you submit is a government ID or you just fill up your detail.?

Yes! Its difficult to stay away from these type of free offers but i never get any free coin without doing nothing! These may be scam but they can't take your ID.
Unless you share your password.. they can't take your ID. ETH wallet address can find anyone but how they will get private key? Never, its the beauty of this technology. Am i right?
Can you share any specific project name which you are involving now?

For example there is a project named gift.one - they are giving free gift coin everyday mentioning the value in USD but there is no way to withdraw this gift....I have asked several times to their telegram group but no reply.....
So, is it a scam project? Is there any possibility to get this gift or similar value in USD?

Maybe this is just a faucet or cloud mining. Anyway, I don't recommend you to earn btc this way. Is much better playing freerolls poker in websites like Nitrogensports.eu

Be really careful with KYC (know your customer) sign-ups. If you're considering submitting your ID:

1. Check the team.
How transparent is their development? If they are an anonymous team, is it for a good reason? Do the members have direct experience with other successful blockchain projects?

2. Look for the whitepaper.
Not all legitimate projects have whitepapers from the get go, but you can get a good idea of how serious the project is by skimming through it. Check their citations - are they linking to some random-*** Medium article?

3. Do you think they're going to sell your information?
There's nothing really stopping them from doing it and getting away with it. You just have to decide if it's worth the risk and if you believe enough in what they're offering to trust a stranger with your identity.

You should check if the ICO is legit because if its not your ID or your identity would be put into risk, your IDs can be sold  in the deepweb that is why it isnt necessary to send your IDs to get some pennies, because it doesnt worth the risk of losing your ID into some shit people who might try to use your ID into some illegal things just like what happened to my friend he is a victim of identity theft.

One thing i am not clear? Why KYC needed when your participation only for bounty purpose?
when one guy investing 4 or 5 ETH then it may KYC need but only for participate on any bounty why needed KYC ?
It means a huge number of peoples ID can easyly manage through one project.
Should i use my ID for bounty KYC purpose ?
