So I'm seeing a lot of new threads about social media sites and ad networks banning ICO ads, also seeing FUD related to these actions.
First off, understand why this is happening, there have been countless ICO scams where the owners have just run off with the ICO money, it's always happened but it's gaining more attention simply due to higher adoption of crypto currency, as a network which displays adverts, they come with a certain level of responsibility for the ads they show, if we have a scenario where people are getting scammed via ICOs, they will turn to the initial ad they've seen which encouraged the buy, you'll get comments like "I bought ICO X because facebook was advertising it" and what not, it reflects badly on these companies when this happens.

So what is the logical response they take after many complaints? They simply stop advertising them, company security comes before anything else.

There is a HUGE difference between them opposing crypto currency vs covering their asses from scam projects.

Now secondly, if we look at some of these networks which have banned ICOs, the CEOs, companies and the likes are actually quite positive about crypto/bitcoin as a whole, to give a few examples:

Bitcoin Will Be World's 'Single Currency' Says Twitter CEO:
https://www.coindesk.com/twitter-ceo-jack-dorsey-bitcoin-will-be-the-worlds-single-currency/

Blockchain bitcoin wallet start-up raises $40 million from Google:
https://www.cnbc.com/2017/06/22/bitcoin-wallet-startup-blockchain-raises-40-million-from-google-richard-branson.html

Mark Zuckerberg says technology powering Bitcoin could come to Facebook in the future:
https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/news/facebook-mark-zuckerberg-bitcoin-price-value-latest-blockchain-cryptocurrency-encryption-resolution-a8142531.html

I could list more but you get the idea, to view ICOs as Bitcoin or crypto as a whole is pretty poor judgement, keep positive and just ignore this FUD, same for countries banning or heavily regulating them, it's just to protect their people from being scammed.

Also, I'm not anti ICO, I don't like this concept of a few bad eggs hurting it for the good ones, but we even see this in many non financial areas of the world where something gets banned due to a small portion of people abusing it and strong complaints.

Scammers have always been and will be. Why does no one talk about a large number of joint-stock companies that went bankrupt and left their shareholders without money. This is silent so as not to collapse the stock market. ICO is the same. The various reasons for which the ICO is blamed are only attempts to take them under the control of the stock market's gateways.

Fair point, another reason why I don't get too caught up in the ICO scam FUD, ICOs allow for great startup ideas to happen, even with regulation scams can still occur just like we see on the stock market, but with the stock market too many powerful people are invested, including all of the media tycoons, so it's understandable why this gets hushed up

news about the ban on crypto currency ads on various platforms does not mean nobody cares, but what can we do to block that? large companies like facebook and google have the authority for it we are only users.

The main reason is the policy of each country is not clear, so facebook and twitter and Google have to ban advertisements Cryptocurrency market, because if continue to provide support, so these large companies may face legal problems.
