I'm using a Amazon VPC ubuntu server for a proxy and it's worked fine since July. I can go out and make a connection but i'm not getting anything back from the nodes 9911. I can ping the nodes in my list. If i just down my proxy and go straight out it works fine. This worked fine for months and it just stopped working.
trying connection 88.190.56.58:9911 lastseen=265.5hrs SOCKS5 connecting 88.190.56.58 SOCKS5 connected 88.190.56.58 connected 88.190.56.58:9911 send version message: version 70001, blocks=249352, us=0.0.0.0:0, them=88.190.56.58:9911, peer=88.190.56.58:9911 socket no message in first 60 seconds, 0 1 disconnecting node 88.190.56.58:9911
trying connection dnsseed.xpm.altcointech.net lastseen=0.0hrs SOCKS5 connecting dnsseed.xpm.altcointech.net SOCKS5 connected dnsseed.xpm.altcointech.net connected dnsseed.xpm.altcointech.net send version message: version 70001, blocks=249352, us=0.0.0.0:0, them=0.0.0.0:0, peer=0.0.0.0:0 socket recv error 10054 disconnecting node dnsseed.xpm.altcointech.net
I've also verified time.
It's not the nodes in my list. Do you think amazon blocked port 9911 for incoming traffic? I've even added the a rule for all TCP connections on port 9911 and it didn't work.
5 XPM reward for help
Any ideas?
