Why don't you guys patch the board to require bitcoins to post (not requiring sign up at all, or a higher bitcoin fee for a permanent membership)?  That would provide a service to the bitcoin economy (something you can spend bitcoins on) and also cut away spam.

Sign Up:

In order to sign up on the forum, you must send 0.005 bitcoins to 1Q6wxAxbZNVEMVtzJRo1PkhWJ179gfn5WE, and enter your sending address in the field, or to join permanently send 0.01 bitcoins to the same address.

Eventually a browser could have a wallet built-in, so that you could just click a buy button and the browser would negotiate the sending of money to the site on your behalf (creating the sending address, and filling out the field at the same time).

Why not create your own forum with this option?
Probably use vB with the payment options.
