EarthCoin is solid coin.. there is small premine but as authors said, just for give aways and testing etc..
If thre would be any shady invention behind EarthCoin, I think first blocks would give much bigger reward.. thre was only 5x for first day, 3x for second and 2x for third day.. since then all get same reward and blocks dont reduce reward that quickly..
Compare this with doge coin.. thre was huge instamine of like 5-7% of all doge coins by small group of people and then rewards decreased significantly so now mining is pretty unprofitable..
Earthcoin is nicely profitable now and rewards are also nicely set.. I think this coin is way more interesting than doge..
