Out of nowhere unknown (big) pools and hash-rate doubling to 190 GH/s in just one day...if I would plan an attack I would it do right after a long announced fork  Shocked

I think people are tired of HEATING their houses during the summer, mine X11 and save power in 2 ways, less to power the cards and less AC needed.

It has been shown that other coins mining hash rate goes down during the summer, now they have a way to make money with less heat and electricity!

Supposed to hit 107 here in Arizona tomorrow.

DarkCoin - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615 - DarkCoin aims to be the first privacy-centric cryptographic currency with fully encrypted transactions and anonymous block transactions.

Yes it is paranoia.

The POW phase of XC ended last night and it was 10x more profitable then mining DRK at that moment. Now the XC price has tripled since then.

If you want paranoia look at the XC hashrate graph.

What do you think were those spikes>?

You can't make 800.000 MH from GPUs. Even if you can, it must of been one or very few entities by looking how it behaved on the graph.

Funny thing is that hashrate never touched other X11 coins. Must either:

-be very expensive to run
-something odd with XC

Surely happens, but not THAT fast, it's more a continuous process.

Good point, I didn't know about XC. Doesn't explain doubling the hash-rate completely, but helps to understand it.

And thanks for the link!
