Is it possible to store contents of Application Data/Bitcoin on folder in partition D but keep the wallet.dat on C partition? I know how to move entire Bitcoin data directory and also how to accomplis this using NTFS junctions. But is it possible to specify location of wallet.dat alone?

I ask this because C uses redundant RAID array but have somewhat limited space. D is high performance external harddrive with FireWire connection and ample storage space but no redundancy in case of mechanical failure.

use NTFS file junction or hard link. blocks are located at %appdata%\bitcoin\blocks\ and %appdata%\bitcoin\chainstate\ so create a link from those folders to a folder in D:\

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

I already told in original post that I know how to accomplish this using NTFS and asked for command line parameter or bitcoin.conf option. As I understand as for now this is not possible.
