Person learns about bitcoin.
Person decided to get bitcoin and reads that they can buy or mine.
Persone decides mining sounds cool, and is cheaper than buying if you buy eruptors,
Person buys eruptors realises that it is pointless and either buys BTC or gives up.

It;s just a hype people are getting into. Google "mining calculator" to know how many BTC you can mine in 24hrs. Or use this http://www.alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator

Anything less than 3Gh/s won't get the ROI

it is GH/s/$ that is important for ROI, and when you can start mining with it, possibly the most importantly

Hm, in 5 years or so they can brag with it like "Look, this was one of the first USB miners; see how very basic this thing is!"  Grin And I bet those USB miners will be worth 10 fold after 10 years hehe
