as per my reading and research there are following kinds of miners are available in market

minergate
ethOS
claymore
cgminer
nicehash

i want to build the rig but currently i have not availability of AMD cards

so, i am planning to make from nvidia.

what are the effect of ethOS on the hash rate of nvidia and amd card with compare above miner? (for mining of ether, zcash or monero)

compare to above miners, how easy to setup ethOS?

i do not expect that you have experience of all above.

But any advice or suggestion will helpfull to me.

First: ethOS is not a miner, its a operating system just like Windows but built on GNU/Linux and as far as I know ethOS don't support nVidia

Second : Stay far away from minergate, they are thieves, they steel your hashrate and pay you less. Just do a search on this forum you will know what I am taking about.

Third : nicehash is not just a miner, they are a hash renting platform who also provide miners.

Forth: Each algorithm has different miners, so each miner on each algorithm performs differently comparing them across the board is like comparing apple with oranges

Fifth : Setting up ethOS is very easy but I would strongly advice against it, because they lifted the code from GNU/Linux and have not honored the GPL license and this makes them thieves.

Sixth : Take a look at the below mentioned link, it might help

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1854250.0

Seventh: If I where you, what I would do is first select one algorithm and find out all the miners that is available and find benchmarks of each miner on the GPU that I have, then select the next algorithm and repeat. Once I have all the details at hand then I will look at an OS that will support these miners.

Eight: If you are not comfortable with GNU/Linux, you can run almost all leading miners on Windows without much problem.

Hope this helps.

I am planning for etherium, which miner do you suggest for Nvidia cards.

Thanks in advance.

Here's a package I created to keep your rig mining the most profitable algorithm. Defaults uses Nicehash. If you find any issues or want to request features please submit an issue on GitHub.

https://github.com/ajpsp5/ethos-auto-miner

Its does donate one hour a day of mining time (roughly $0.15/day) towards improvements and an ethos mobile app I'm working on. Anyway, I hope it helps.

This thread was posted on June 2017 and probably the guy gave up because of all the fuzz happening around BTC in India. I have seen this 'auto-miner' being posted in many threads posted by newbies. There are already many great mining programs, whats special about your miner if you are trying to help newbies?

As far as a newbie miner is concerned, he can just download the NiceHash Miner from their official website and point their rigs, and the NiceHash miner is very user friendly and also a great integrated 'auto-mining' software and there isn't this whole one hour a day of mining time donation also.
