No it is not.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

Your question was specifically "is it EWBF?" and I answered. If you are asking for better alternatives try DSTM or bminer.

Bminer seems to be the popular choice these days.

Since he asked about EWBF which is nvidia only, I assumed he meant nvidia. bminer is nvidia based.

DSTM has been the best in my testing (Nvidia GPUs of course). Claymore's is best for AMD.

Zawawa was working on a new/improved kernel for Equihash in his GatelessGate mining software, but I don't think it's released to the public yet. With the Equihash asics coming this summer there isn't as much incentive for developers to work on that algorithm now.

Dstm miner zm 0.6.1 is what you are looking for for equihash algo. As for bminer, i`ve heard stories of it doing some unsavoury things in the past, something with keeping an open port or something. I can`t tell if that had changed tho, or is it completely safe to use, since i`ve never used it myself, been more than happy with dstm.
