We are building a Fantasy Sports experience with a difference.
- Buy and own players as tokens with Ether. - Use the tokens to build a team and compete in tournaments built on smart contracts. Automatic payments, transparent and trustless! - Contract owners (users) can earn Ether by hosting their own tournaments. - Watch your team dominate and your player tokens increase in value. - Sell Tokens in our marketplace for profit!
We're working on launching for the Fifa World Cup. What do you guys think of the idea?

- Not a bad idea unless it hasn't been implemented before which I highly doubt. - Are you planning to run your own chain based on ETH which will also mean your own tokens and then eventually an ICO ? I can see where this is heading! - Fantasy leagues indeed are an addiction. You have selected a right niche at the right time. Best of luck with your project.

Thanks for the support! Unlike a lot of ICOs now that give a promise of a product the future, we want to build a working MVP show our potential.
I think what we're working on can work very well with blockchain tech. We aren't forcing the tech onto it. We're all very excited about it.

I tried the site and I just get " Warming Up " and then it hangs. Are you modelling the concept after the Crypto Kitties concept? .. but with Sport tokens? You should definitely not use any information or logo of the FIFA world cup, because they are very protective of their Copy rights and they will shut it down. Crypto Kitties was successful because there are a lot of Cat lovers and we also know that soccer is very popular too, so this might just work. I hope you get it done, before the World Cup starts.

That " warming up" takes a while, I thought that it's already available because of that loading screen, but not. It this some sort of a " gambling" site? Build your team and dominate the competition! Earn money by winning contests, hosting tournaments and selling players for profit. According to this, all those virtual contests and tournaments will happen within the server or site, please explain the " fairness" of this system.

You can build a team from various players and compete against others for points based on real life sporting events. The fairness of the system comes from: 1. Data for sporting events comes from a trusted third party 2. We (First 11) don't host any tournaments, users can host tournaments using smart contracts. They will be rewarded for this. 3. Teams and player transactions can be seen on the public chain for complete transparency As for the "warming up" issue, we'll take a look into it. Thanks for bring it up

Thanks for bring it up That "warm it up thing" doesn't exist or it shows in to my browser.I don't have any problems on loading in the site.Timeclock as of this writing is already on 70days before into its operation. Been wondering at first if it would be a sort of gambling site since you haven't mention in the very first place or do made some clarification but now you have spoken the key ideas.Im already having questions on what would be the point for this thing to be created?Token values wont increase if you do certain win a tournament I'm quiet confused on how this actually works if this wont be a gambling thing. Having an idea on following crypto kitties concept or having a different niche specially FIFA would really make a buzz. Would care to elaborate further more?

Having an idea on following crypto kitties concept or having a different niche specially FIFA would really make a buzz. Would care to elaborate further more? Sure. Each player you add to your team represents a player token. That token value is tied to the real life value of that player. So let's say you pick a no name striker from Belgium for example, and he turns out to be a star and scores a lot of points in the fantasy game, his demand and value will go up. We are making a limited number of tokens for each player which also affects the token value. These values are not determined by us but by a third party sport statistics provider based on various factors such as player salary and performance metrics. The marketplace will allow users to trade these player tokens similar to crypto kitties.

I am not sure if I understand the monetization part of the tournament. Would you give an example? Let's say I bought 20 tokens of player X and 30 tokens of player Y. How do i get paid if they perform well in next game?

OK. So firstly our system only allows you to purchase one of each player. This is to prevent player hoarding. You start by buying players. You can buy as many or as little as you want. However, if you wish to participate in a tournament you need at least 11 players (which makes up a football (soccer) team). Each player is a unique token. In our dashboard, you can put your players together to form a team, name the team and make edits as you wish. Users can buy tournaments (smart contracts) from First 11 and promote their tournaments. To participate, you need to pay an entrance fee which goes towards the prize. Based on the outcomes of real life games, you get points based on your team lineup. The top three gets prize and the host also gets a percentage for hosting. As the season progresses, player values will fluctuate based on performance. Let's say player X started off the season at 0.0001 Eth, then has a few great games, his performance and by extension his demand will increase, thus increasing his value. So he may be now valued at 0.0003 Eth. At this point he can be sold for profit or kept on your team to help you win tournaments. Does that make things a bit clearer? Feedback is appreciated

I can't sign up on your website. After I enter my email - it doesn't go anywhere. Now, some follow up questions: 1. Is there a limit on total no. of tokens issued for a player X? 2. Can I join multiple tournaments? 3. Where are you guys based/who is team behind this project? Why so secretive 4. You say you're implementing smart contracts. I am assuming the source code would be public to verify what smart contracts do.

I am assuming the source code would be public to verify what smart contracts do. Signing up on our website gives you early access to our beta when it's released. We have nothing for the public just yet so hang tight. As for your questions: 1. In short, yes. However, there will be different versions of the same player. So you may have a World Cup Messi and a La Liga Messi. You can use either in your team but if you're a collector then you can collect them all 2. Yes you can join multiple tournaments with the same team. However, you may not join the same tournament with different teams. 3. Haha We're a small team of developers working out in Caribbean. We're big fans of sports and crypto so marrying the two made sense 4. We're planning to have the smart contracts audited by a third party to reinforce trust. But yes, as the contract owner you will be able to view the code. At the end of the day we hope what we're doing is fun and accessible to even the non-techies. Again any and all feedback on our project are welcomed.
