Do you think lite coins will ever cost the same as bit coins? what is the difference betwen them, and the pros and cons of each one.

I don't think so, litecoin is a good coin, but bitcoin is better and taken a lot of time to the people start to trust it, that's why bitcoin is now in $300 bucks.

Litecoin was released to the public 33 months after Bitcoin and has a currency dilution four times
that of Bitcoin, that must be absorbed by the market place.
I suspect Litecoin to take a minimum of eight years to reach the market maturity and public acceptance
that Bitcoin has reached so far.

I just don't see it ever reaching the same value as bitcoin. However, it wouldn't surprise me at all if it hit $25-$50 someday.

Nope.  Litecoin is modeled FROM bitcoin, it would be quite ironic if it were to surpass it.
The highest I see it going is a few bitcents.

Litecoin is Bitcoin v2.0 with all the bugs worked out.

No 51% attack vulnerability.
Lower/quicker transaction cost.
No FPGAs & ASICs (the printing press remains in the hands of the people with a bog standard PC)

Litecoin is a better crypto-currency, it just doesn't have the market awareness right now.

There's a possibility that mining power centralization will eventually kill Bitcoin as big players, like the Winklevoss Twins, move in. Then there's a chance Litecoin will become the crypt-currency communities new champion.
