Can anyone suggest a website where people can sell their services e.g. programming in exchange for crypto?

I was very impressed by xbtfreelancer.com but they are not allowing new sign-ups. I tried them a few months ago and had the same problem.

If you hire people, where do you post?

Take a look at Upwork , it's a reputable market . Or you can either try with Jobsforbitcoin .
I can also suggest you some other alternatives which have good reviews but i didn't try them by myself like Coinality , Cryptogrind , Bitlancer or BitGigs .
You can also use the "Services" board of our forum . It's a good option to sell services or to hire people . Good luck

Take a look at Upwork , it's a reputable market.
Upwork is one of the top but it doesn't pay in Crypto afaik. In my own ranking, Fiverr is number one and then Upwork.

Or you can either try with Jobsforbitcoin .
I just visited and saw some good jobs are posted there. Thanks for sharing. I'm not using Reddit much recently.

I can also suggest you some other alternatives which have good reviews but i didn't try them by myself like Coinality , Cryptogrind , Bitlancer or BitGigs .
Bitgigs is down, wondering if they stopped business.
Coinality seems not getting updated since October, so not a good choice.
Upon my checking now CryptoGrind doesn't seem to be a serious-minded entity because they allowed this. MLM?

You can also use the "Services" board of our forum . It's a good option to sell services or to hire people . Good luck
Agreed, a good choice!

You can add Banigig here, https://www.banigig.com/ the site is legit already order 3 gig here you can post your offer here, it's not a very popular freelance marketplace, but the interface is very good it works like Fiverr, made me think it's a clone of Fiverr, you can promote your Gig in the service section, this is a good place to create a portfolio.

You can literally just post your services/freelancing skills in any social media website groups specialize in job hunting and ask for crypto as a payment and not rely on websites such as this. Why? You'll land more interested parties in a social media website compared to freenlancing websotes specialize woth crypto since the traffic alone isn't even comparable against the one you will get in Facebook or Twitter. You can even create your own Twitter account for your services or have your own FB page for your services and get a better result.

Why would choose one if you can have both? I agree that traffic on social media sites is incomparable compared to current forums and other freelancing sites but having 2 things is better than just choosing one.If your skills are on a specific area then its better to post first on relevant one- Other than those common freelancing sites xbt etc. I do always look up on https://www.reddit.com/r/Jobs4Bitcoins/.

You can even create your own Twitter account for your services or have your own FB page for your services and get a better result.

The issue with this option is actually traffic itself. The chance of a random employer hunting for job seekers on Twitter and stumbled upon your profile is really small if you're not famous yet. I personally do some freelance work and nearly 10 out of 10 of my work comes from platform like Fiverr.

The issue with this option is actually traffic itself.

Oh yes, I've tried once to break free from freelance websites so registered insta, twitter and fb account in order to gain money from it.
However, I realized that I either have to spend money on advertisement so someone will ever see my account or have to spend time on manually searching my clients to ask them for an offer.
That was way harder than I expected it to be.
If you're not ready - stay near Fiverr and other similar platforms, they're pretty handy

Milewilda has just explain above that you [as a freelancer] can work on both options . It's efecient to look for job offers in reddit [jobs4bitcoin] or Fiverr , using the profiles you had created in different social media channels to prove competences and skills.
I would always suggest our forum {bitcoin forum} to create a  professional profile , to hire freelancers , or to look for good offers if you are sure about accepting crypto .

Currently on Upwork, and no, they do not take in bitcoin payments as of yet, though they are a legitimate freelancing platform that has been up for over 10 years now, which started from oDesk btw.

The subreddit doesn't seem to contain any worth it jobs at least for me, and most people are still better off doing some jobs irl and just buying bitcoin rather than waiting for a proper job that rewards them handsomely on bitcoin.

Heck, even this forum can give you enough opportunities if you have the right skills.

I worked for companies related to crypto on upwork though. Upwork by the way will keep reminding you that bitcoin is not regulated when you apply and mention "bitcoin" in your  messages. The number of crypto employers in upwork are increasing still.  You'd encounter some of them are from here as well and wants you to do dirty jobs like shilling for their project, they are polite when turned down though, I guess they don't wanna be exposed.

SEOClerk could help you, they allow BTC there afaik

The platforms am about to share usually have people looking for programmers to make changes on their different project website. So you know some programming to might earn something decent from a couple of gigs that may interest you. They pay crypto mostly in ETH or a native token of the platform which is already listed in an exchange and has value.

I personally used both and earned from them thou my focus was mostly content creation gigs.
