You're not actually mining bitcoin you're actually renting your hashing power for someone to use it how they wish and you're being paid in bitcoin.

I see this is a referral link and you're hoping others will join and make you more BTC but the actual case is that you won't get as many users as you hope. In the end you'll end up paying more for electricity than you will receive in BTC.

If I must be choosing, better to use your computer to mine CPU-based coins directly, than doing those kinds of things.

Did you know how that kind of Chrome addon works is? Seem like you know nothing. It will use your computer resource (Processor) to mine some coin, and then you got candy from them. Soon your computer would be broke.
