I just wanted to score up some issues I experienced when registering, especially in light of the recent attack on the site and the changes that were implemented.
1. The system advised me that there was already an account connected to the email address I supplied - except there isn't. Perhaps my late-night alter-ego? So, I asked for a lost password email but that didn't arrive. So, I used an alt email address in the end but quite strange/disconcerting.
2. The CAPCHA box was difficult to read so I requested a new one but the same one kept being presented, which was both frustrating and not a great spam deterrent. Perhaps this was linked the issue one.
NB I'm a long time lurker and only registered because I needed to PM someone...apologies for being anti-social
