Maybe of maybe not, maybe they are talking about core integration or the general problems with it. It could also cause a spike in media attention so others could adopt it. Could you provide a link please?

The recent spike started shortly after the closure of Silk Road. It only intensified after the paper about selfish mining made a media splash, with headlines like "Bitcoin is broken".

There are many more examples. If there's anything I've learnt about bitcoin in the past few months, it's this: when it comes to bitcoin, all news is good news.

Regardless of US gov holds talk, a correction will come. Big whales will sell for profit and many others panic sell. I guess crash to around 200.
