Bitcoin Hashrate drops Big

Can anyone shed some light on what's going on with the hashrate??? It dropped from 33 yesterday to 8 today. Any idea what's going on? Did China go offline or something?

would you mind telling us where you are getting your numbers from?
the only thing strange that i can find is from blockchain.info [1] which is showing a big drop from 25.6 EHS to 10.9 EHS which seems to be more like a bug to me since other sources are showing something else [2][3] from 28.3 to 27. EHS which is a negligible drop

I believe that it would be a lot healthier for all of us who have Bitcoin if we all took a much more distant approach and stop panicking at every single thing or at every candle on the chart.

Bitcoin has seen already in the past fluctuation even in the hashrate, and still managed to recover nicely.

It is not the first time and it won't be the last.
