Hi,

I am wondering if it makes sense to use the Celeron CPU to mine next to the GPUs? if yes, what program (minergate?!)?

Is seems to me that the Celeron is always running on 100% power usage and then it should make no difference? that was my thought to mine with it as well...

How can I check how much power the celeron does draw and can I reduce it?

Bad idea.  The cpu will use more power if mining and probably cost more than it makes.  Also, depending on how many gpus you have, it will likely reduce the mining capability of the entire rig.  While gpu rigs do not require a big powerful cpu, the cpu is involved in running the system and if you load it up to 100% there will be an impact.
