It would be nice to have a thread about fundamental analysis of bitcoin.

What determines a mature bitcoins value? Transaction volume, how much is used for wealth storage, how much is locked up in reserves, more?. What are realistic estimates of these numbers? What would the price be based on this?

What are the odds the bitcoin will succeed partially or fully (longterm)?

What are the "known unknowns"? Legality, tax status...? When will the outcome of these be known?
