I'm creating a token and I'd like to put it on an exchange that is regulated by the SEC after my ICO is finished. Has anyone heard of new exchanges that will be regulated?

All exchanges that come under US jurisdiction will be regulated by the SEC. As for if they are compliant or not that is another question. I haven't heard of any new exchanges, but there's nothing wrong with sticking to the old ones.

Circle bought Poloniex specifically with the SEC's blessing, presumably to ward off any future nightmares. If there's going to be a fully compliant exchange, it'll be Poloniex.

The question remains how many ICOs will be considered acceptable. Not sure if any will be. We'll have to wait and see. Getting on Poloniex would be a brute of a job I'd imagine.

Every exchange that deals in fiat (such as gdax) is SEC regulated and gdax has even been forced to report people who have done more than $20k in transactions in a year to the IRS.  I dont think you'll have trouble with the SEC when adding you coin to an exchange such as poloniex because they dont regulate ICOs yet.
