The ICO is a crypto equivalent to a standard IPO in the Initial Public Offering. This is the term used for new projects and startups in the crypto world but instead of stocks, investors receive initial coins that are part of a newly-created project network.
As we know, 2016 was a year of great boom for new innovations, solutions, but also scams and coveralls. This theme is made for the reason that together, as a community we find some potentially good project, the "pearl" in the sea of the volatile world of crypto value. The potential is enormous if we can spot something really valuable because we have seen 10X, 100X in this world, but also returns that are simply unimaginable in the standard business world.
What I am looking for is a good idea, a big, strong team, smaller hard cap (since it later has a much greater potential for bigger, more explosive profits) and maybe that the project already has a beta version. From my experience, these are the most important indicators of future project success.
I would like skeptics to sidestep this topic because it is not designed for people who are not interested, or for whatever reason they do not believe in investments or simply investments are not attractive to them in this way. If you have an attitude related to ICO or general cryptomarket, this is NOT a topic for you. Bitcoin or bitcoin theme for skeptics is designed for discussion. Here we talk only and exclusively about the technical side of a potential new project and anything related to that coin only.
I would also like to complain that complaints, bounties, and other marketing coins also circumvent this topic because I repeat, this is NOT a topic for you. This is a topic for investors and serious money.
IMPORTANT! Every investment you make is your decision. We are here to exchange opinions only, but in the end is your final decision whether you want to invest your money or not.
And finally a word of encouragement. I had a lot of positive experiences with this area. There were plenty of good profits here. There was also a premature sale. Even there was one scam that I went into (that Polybius project). Fortunately, I managed to get out of time with a minuscule loss. But what is encouraging, given the overall boom of this unsettled market, even that verified scam has not lost its value but is still keeping its initial ICO price. So just imagine a good, good project and how its price will look like.

Valid - ICO that deals with transaction data and intends to connect users to data stores. The team comes from Switzerland, an open door to the ICOs, from which one of the most successful projects comes. One example is Modum, whose counselor is currently working on this project.
The guy looks serious and has been checked transparent and solid. They did not rush with the release of the ICO, saying that they did not intend to fast-paced hunting
The hard cap is relatively small, about $ 30 million. I expect ICO success similar to Modum. I recommend you to read the Whitepaper.

Social networks show that the project is still quite unnoticed and is still waiting for its discovery.
All in all, a pretty solid ICO!
