This is huge. This is what greedy whales look like and why I don't think people were being unnecessarily paranoid when they were calling out whales.

Just one example, the link has A LOT of screenshots:

"

Crypto Signals: But we probably won't start doing any sort of manipulation until bigger exchanges.

Ivan S. (CryptoGat): ill throw in 1 or 2 btc

Ivan S. (CryptoGat): Manipulation is not a good word to be throwing around lol.

    Peripheral: Market making* (sweat emoji)

    Peripheral: I'm interested though
"

What do you think?

They don't seem that major, so it's not that major, but goes to show that if they do it and it's possible, imagine what the bigger whales are capable of.

Most of the coins that pump sometimes are as result of the activities of the so called whales in the market. That is why we see coins pump so easily even when it is not yet matured for that and as a result of this, they easily dump. I have seen situations where 24 hours coin pump with over 1000% profit for early investors. That is why care has to be taken when trading.

Not really surprising, since I thought this was more or less common knowledge but it's great to finally see the screenshots and see what kind of people they are, just how exactly do it and so on. Hope to see them gone from the crypto world now too.

Jeez I was under the impression that it was big financial institutions or high valued individuals doing all of the market manipulation not trusted influencers. I guess with all the money sloshing around its irresistible to even the most trusted of voices. I think this is another case of where some form of oversight or regulation is needed. There is absolute blatant market manipulation going on daily

People often blame whales and they seem paranoid but the link shows that they really are manipulating the market and coins. It's really hard to crack down on them though.

If these are just some of the relatively more no-name whales, imagine what the whales at the top of the chain are doing. Scary to think about

What do you think?

It's crazy how greedy they are and the way they're talking about manipulating the markets is disgusting.

I am trading from past 5 years that means half a decade both regulated equity and commodity . Most of the equity shares completely controlled by whales even some reputed investors announce their investment some small shares immediately its price will increase. I am seeing same kind of manipulation in crypto currency . Compare to traditional Equity and commodity atleast crypto having transparency. No matter until you go to top you will be blaming whales . Once you become a whale you will follow the same strategy what whales now following.
