Ordinarily I would think this (http://rt.com/usa/news/internet-1981-law-patriot/ ) has no chance of passing, but a lot of orgs are for it, so who knows.....it did pass the House judiciary committee....so if it does happen, what happens to bitcoin? Seems like recording all internet activity by ISPs would kill bitcoin's confidentiality for most users, but what do I know?

If they'd waited just a little longer it could've been HR1984, which would've been so much more appropriate.

If this passes, I'll just be a full-time citizen of TORville.
