EDIT: the issue finally got solved by itself. Had to wait it out until the retried transaction was finally accepted. Total time to fund 5 paper wallets: 4 days.

Hi all,

Five days ago (18th of November 2013) I funded five paper wallets using coinbase's web interface (each wallet with 1 BTC). Two days later on 20th of November I received an automated email from coinbase stating
Quote
On Nov 18, 2013 you sent 1.00 BTC to "[address removed]". This transaction was never accepted by the bitcoin network and has been unconfirmed for 24 hours, so we've removed it and restored the bitcoin to your account.

I checked blockchain.info and it looks like all my paper wallets were funded successfully except for this one which had the transaction rejected.

When I log into my coinbase account I dont see the 1 BTC refund, but instead it looks like the transaction was retried automatically (i assume) because on Nov 20th I have a transaction of -1 BTC which I did not execute, and it looks like one of the outputs is the address of my paper wallet. Unfortunately I dont see any unconfirmed transactions on blockchain.info so I have to assume that something has gone wrong somewhere.

I've opened a support ticket with coinbase almost immediately (Nov 20th) but still haven't heard back as of yet (currently Nov 22nd).

Has anyone experienced any similar issues with transactions getting stuck like this?
How many years will it take to get a response from their support team?
Will i ever see my 1 BTC again?
[stay tuned and find out on the next episode]
