I would love to offer my services as I'm on Second Life (SL through the rest of the page) quite a bit.

I know that you can trade via Virwox but that is really expensive, its 1$ more than trading other ways and you also have to calculate SL buying Fees into that equation and then you have to buy whole bitcoins and can't buy/sell parts of bitcoin via Virwox.

I would like to offer a solution to this problem. I will trade Lindens (SL Money) for Bitcoins and buy Bitcoins with Lindens.

I will use the bitcoin watch weighted average for calculating prices and will have a 3% Fee on that and when calculating then on the Linden side it's +6L to the current exchange rate (to make up for SL fees) this formula make you pay a little extra (but no where near Virox's exchange) and it makes me almost break even (I make about .15 cents per 1btc) vs the Weighted Average

Just pick up a notecard, fill it out and then put it in the dropbox!

You can visit my exchange office in SL at:

Note:I DO USE MY ALT (saiyaman) ON SL FOR THIS, HIS AGE AND EVERYTHING IS FAIRLY NEW, IF YOU REALLY WANT TO CHECK MY SL ACCOUNT CHECK "Aaleyah Lovell"

Hello chris3spice,

Why not just trade at https://www.virwox.com/? Their volume is ~100K BTCs per month at the moment and I haven't heard of any complaints about them.

That's what I'm trying to not do, because their trading is much more expensive than trading on Mt. Gox or anything, I want to save people a little money if possible

Right now its Trading 1BTC for 1901L which is roughly $7.43 USD

After fees and stuff I make about 10 cents on bitcoin trades and I save you 100L instead of trading via Virwox

I see what you mean. I've been researching different bitcoin exchanges and VirWox has the highest trading fees so far (almost 3% !!! ) but they are transparent about their business which is very good.

Well, good luck with this. Have you thought of opening up a BTC/SLL Real-Time Trading Exchange?

Cheers!

Don't want to hijack thread, but there are cool guys from TheRock Trading Co. among us on bitcointalk, and they run BTC/SLL exchange here http://www.therocktrading.com/rock/currency_exchange, so maybe you can even do arbitrage Smiley

I want to continue the hijack  Grin

I noticed TheRock Trading Co. today while researching some information. They do look good so far in my opinion, trading fee of ~1% or so. The site just needs a decent API and more volume for now.

I have used Therocktrading many many times to exchange from linden dollars to bitcoins, they are very good.
Fees are much lower then on virwox and the owner Paci Barbarossa is very helpfull.

I definitely recommend them

This thread is almost 2 years old. Gravedigging a thread which is so old does not make people want to help you at all, it just makes everyone  even more pissed off.
