Anyone familiar with TrueCrypt? Backup Volume Header Security

Hey guys,

I am in the process of creating a secure truecrypt container to store my important files.

I have made a backup volume header in case the original TC container gets damaged.

Will I need to make sure the backup volume header is secure? As in, if someone gets a hold of the backup volume header, will they be able to crack my truecrypt container somehow?

Also, if anyone has any other tips for long term storage would be great.
