Hello Everybody,

During the end of 2017, we saw a lot of interesting and "less interesting" dApp popping up, mainly focused on the gambling/gaming/collectibles. This phenomenon has suddenly slowed down and - luckily let me say - a lot of trash disappeared.

Honestly, I think that the possibility of having real decentralized apps could be a big change in the future, but I would like to hear your thinking about which industries could be majorly affected by this change.

Thank you!

The imagination that DAPP brings to us is based on consensus block, smart contract, cross-chain fusion and other blockchain technologies to describe the future blockchain world for us.
In the future, we may only need a DAPP to get a lot of cooperation and transactions based on "trust" and "value." Because this DAPP already contains most of your important assets, including your personal credit, bank deposits, spending, friends, and so on.
With it, you can quickly complete the loan application, quickly get approval from strangers, quickly establish a trust relationship, and obtain a more authentic and effective endorsement.
In the future, DAPP will also be your passport to the world of blockchain. With it, you can redeem countless resources among the numerous service organizations in the blockchain world, and regardless of time and space constraints, you can complete resource acquisition anywhere and anytime.
In that case, DAPP is a new species that breaks the gap between time and space and breaks the existing business barriers.

I think in China currently there is a good example of this (except is totally centralized). The digital payment system platform owned by Alibaba group called ALIPAY, during the years have evolved extraordinarily. In the beginning, it was just a way to pay with your phone, basically linking your profile to your bank account.
Today, just using your Alipay account you can:
  • Order Food Online
  • Access to car sharing services
  • Access to bike sharing services
  • Buy train/flight/bus tickets
  • Use postage and courier services
  • Login in several online gaming platforms
And much much more. Basically all those third-party service providers have developed their in-app miniprogram and you are no more require to create endless profiles, to register for payments etc.

Of course, in this case it's totally centralized, but it's astonishing how in China you can basically access any kind of service with just your cellphone and an ALIPAY account.
