XFX GTS RX 580 8Gb - overheat problem

Hi Guys,

Need some help.
I have 8 pcs XFX GTS RX 580 8gb gpu's in my rig.
Hashrate: 240 MH/s
Power consumption: 1300W
The temperature of the cards are 65-70 Celsius with 100% fan speed.

In the same place, same rig construction 8pcs Sapphire RX 580 8gb Nitro+
Hashrate 240 MH/s
Power consumption: 1300W
The temperature of the cards are 55-60 Celsius with 47% fan speed!!!

Has anyone experience about the XFX cards?

There is a temperature difference but it's not overheating but yeah you do have to figure out why one fan is running slower and at a lower temp.  Airflow might be playing a part, is one parked near an airvent?  Is warm or cool air coming out of it?

 I have 12 pcs rig with 8 XFX gpu‘s. All of them running with this temperature and fan speed. The in the mining room i use professional fan system. Every hour 30 times i change the air inside. The sapphire rig and the xfx rig placed near by each other.
Today i build Sapphire rigs again and the temperature and the fan speed is perfect. 55 Celsius with 47% fan speed.
The xfx cards are very srtange...
I tried many bios  versions and settings, but no changes. (i use Linux)
Could be flase the xfx temperature and the fans speed?

Nope, readings are true. I also noticed that difference. Tested on two rigs placed besides each other: 580 xfx 8gb gts and 580 nitro+ 8gb. Energy consumption is the same but temps and fan speeds can differ much. Sapphire: 70 degree C, fan 20%, XFX: 70 degree C, fan 90%. There is nothing you can do, you have to accept it.

try to run AC  if that not good

try to change Thermal Putty for one card then test if that ok

change for ALL CARDS

The XFX has a rather strange printed circuit board with a front arrangement (before and very close to GPU) of VRM . Apparently this causes high temperatures in comparison with other graphics cards on this core.
Try to use the longitudinal purge of your rig.
