are you in IT? how did you get here?

Been gaming on computers long before I got into the IT field.  I was working as a security guard in the late 90s when a friend called me to ask if I would be interested in a job in tech support.  The rest is history 13+ years in IT later I have been in most fields within, AAB and BS degrees in Computer Science and Information Technology, multiple certs, have been a Director of IT for a 500-800 million dollar hospital, worked in telecom w/ fiber networks, consulting,  Applications Manager at another hospital, now I'm in charge of Security and Compliance for a larger retail organization!

I always say my IT knowledge is VERY wide, but not specific to 1 area, jack of all trades IT.
