Hi everyone! I'm fairly new to the bitcoin/alt coin scene but after inheriting some bitcoins I want to try investing in the altcoin markets. However, after looking on major exchanges for a few days now i've always realized that BTC-e trades much lower than other exchanges like Mt.Gox or even the chinese Okcoin. Is there a reason for this? Also After looking online i have not been able to find a direct bitcoin-USD exchange via paypal or something of the like. Is it impossible to do a direct exchange between the two? Thanks!

It's harder to get cash in.  I'm about to experiment using OKPay and a same day deposit to start day trading... I'll let you know how it goes Wink

Thats sounds really stupid. Like the system is based on trading how can it work properly when "its hard to cash in". Completely stupid.

Looks like OKPAY is shutting down in the USA.. Any real way to get physical USD into BTC-e without going through another exchange site?
