Hello everybody,

today i have upgraded one of my rigs which resulted in having 9 cards running on it.
I also upgraded and installed to driver version Adrenaline 18.3.4.
Then i realized that afterburner pushed out a new version 4.5.0

After installing and ramping up everything i realized that afterburner is now showing my all 9 GPU's :-)

There is nothing written in the changelog - but it seems they have been silently enhanced it to support more than 8 GPU's.
See screenshot:

I just wanted to let you know as there are many ppl outside who like to use AB for their convenience.

Cheers,

I reported it 2 days ago but since it was an almost dead section, thanks for making a thread and let others know. I do not use afterburner but is good people know about it, especially nvidia users. Also as reported, voltage is not working on afterburner 4.5 for the latest amd drivers on windows 1709.

I have AB voltage control working on win1709, adren 18.2.  You have to pull a nonintuitive trick to make it work.

Afterburner is good OC software for gpu, just one adjustment for all gpu. But i have been stop using it, because I think every gpu has its own characteristics although 1 type. I once used it and i checked in hwinfo 2-3 gpu occurred "GPU memory error". So now i prefer to use overdriveNtool to setting OC my gpu, although adjusting per gpu but it worth . And I think hashrate is more stable.

There is for a long time a setting where you can adjust every single GPU by itself. I am not using one for all settings as you mentioned they are not ideal (different RAM manufacturers etc.)

I amrunning 1703 and 1709 with adrenaline 18.3.4 and AB 4.5.0 - that is the first combination which is showing me more than 8 GPU and let me adjust their settings - so there must be something changed in the software. It did not show more than 8 GPU's in the past.
