On Saturday 28th April, the same day that Lendo launched the first phase of its ICO, its CEO, David Honeyman was addressing an audience of 600 plus in Beijing.

Lendo’s CEO and its Marketing Director, Mark Snowdon, had been invited to take part in a blockchain summit meeting in the Chinese capital by prominent members of the Asian business community. It was a very welcome opportunity to introduce the Lendo platform and vision to a region that has already shown itself to be extremely interested in blockchain technology, even if there have been issues over exchanges, ICOs and cryptocurrencies.

Our CEO talked about blockchain-friendly jurisdictions in Europe, including Gibraltar, and explained why Lendo had chosen Gibraltar as its preferred jurisdiction for licensing and eventually an exchange listing.

He also spoke about the importance of the regulation of digital assets and about the Gibraltar Blockchain Exchange and what it offers: a complete regulated framework and pioneering blockchain legislation.

The Lendo project itself was of enormous interest to the audience, especially the fact that Lendo offers security by only using FCA regulated lenders and offers worldwide borderless lending.

There’s lots of interest in Lendo.io

The strong level of interest from the business community that attended the meeting in Beijing is a huge confidence boost for those already invested in Lendo and for those that are thinking about joining the ICO.

This is a good time to get in, because the ELT tokens are only €0.20 in this first phase. When the 170 million ELT tokens available now are sold out, the price will go up to €0.40 in the second ICO phase.

With more and more regulated lenders also eager to join the Lendo network, the signs of support from the more conventional members of the business community, in Europe and in Asia, are a convincing argument to get involved with Lendo now.

Please read the whitepapers, as they will give you all the information you need. If you want to ask questions about the project, please join our Telegram channel — just go to COMMUNITY at Lendo, where you’ll also find links to our other social media channels.
