When it comes to transferring money is bitcoin superior to using one of the many aervices where you can send money by email?

Many of those seem to have no fees.  Not sure if it is instant or not.  Any opinions?

Most Bitcoin transactions have fees, people mainly use it for investments or gambling. If you do not participate in any of those, use something with no fees.

When it comes to transferring bitcoins the yes bitcoin is superior to everything. If you want to convert those bitcoins to fiat then things become a little more complicated.

Penandpaper would you mind expanding on this?  I am looking to learn more about this.  How is it superior to everything else when it comes to transferring money?
