I sold all my stuff to build a full back-plane with all the blades because I thought the more GH/ps you have the more money you make... BUT the one thing noone is talking about is the horrible performance of these blades compared to the rest of the stuff out there.

Fellow blade owners please let me know if your blades keep up with the BFL labs and equipment of the same speed.

EVEN RUNNING AT FULL SPEED the units of work is much less because of the old protocol!!!

Maybe if we all band together we can get someone to release an updated firmware.

Example:

BFL: @ 6.5 Gh/s: in 24 hours, 65,000 submits.

Blade: @ 11.6 Gh/s 35,000 submits.

The thing that makes me angry is I spent several days on the forums and NOBODY talks about this!!!

Of course.... I would really love to have them running side by side so I can post some pics but I don't have one. The thing is I don't think people even realize this is the case, the only reason I noticed it was because I owned all of these miners and watched the output closely in my logs.

That's because nobody else is doing it wrong like you are.

There's hundreds of threads setting out in great detail how to set up the Blades.  I suggest you read them.

Dude I have been in IT for over 10 years.... I had the blades running as soon as I plugged them in. This is not the case of one of these turds on here complaining because they don't want to RTFM.

This is a case of the old getwork protocol even with a stratum proxy is not as efficient as the USB connected miners.

What difficulty shares is the BFL device solving, and what is the share difficulty the blade is solving ?

Taking a wild guess at diff 4 for the Jally and diff 8 for the blade ? Diff 8 for the Jally, 16 for the blade ?
