I'm Peter D. Reed.
Several years ago I saw a television commercial on how to trade forex using this automated trading program (wizetrade). After getting my feet wet (I won't talk about how wet my feet got :\), eventually moved on to trading with brokers, and because of a computer science background and my desire to not sit at the computer all day I got in to metatrader and it's trading Robots.
I developed a little understanding of the forex market, but being a computer gangster [cancels out the bad feeling of people thinking I'm a geek?
], I've concluded that I enjoyed the challenge of the figuring out how to remove the emotions out of trading and getting the 'Bots' to effectively and efficiently do the work while I moved on to other things. I made A LOT of money and lost a lot of money with these bots. In the end I came out ahead but somehow I was still spending more time at the pc than I wanted to (maybe deep down I really want to).
So yeah, during the course of all this I discover virtual currencies. I've watched them come, and I've watched them go, and a few years ago I run in to - - - BITCOIN - - -
Yep, I was intrigued. I made a few moves to get some such as trying to mine with deepbit, and using bitcoin plus.
Fast forward. Now maybe you think you see where this is going. Trading, Bots, and Bitcoin... but nope. Thats not why I'm here today.
Me? I like bitcoin (and bots!) Others involved like the benefits of a corporation, and still others like to work with different minds, so we're putting our interests together and i thought I'd try and connect with interesting and interested people on one of the premier bitcoin community forums and see if we can collaborate with others on growing our system into something viable, useful, and long term. Yeah. All that.
We're going to set up the software 'active collab' to support collaborating, so I'll be stopping back to provide the links for those who might be interested. If nothing else, just stop in and watch what develops.
