When paying a bill ask "Can I pay you in bitcoin?"

Most places will say "what's that?" to which I tell them "visit www.BitcoinTraining.com for more info - I think you might like it." The worst they can say is "no" and then you can decide if you want to continue doing business with them.

Here's an example: I'm using a "form submission to email" service. I've asked them the bitcoin question above. If they say "no" then I will move my business to www.FormMail.com which does accept bitcoin for payment. Try offering bitcoin for every payment you make - it's a great way to introduce it to more people and businesses.

Anybody else have any ideas that have worked for you?

I ask all kinds of shops/restaurants if they would accept BTC...They all look at me like I'M the idiot!

I was living in Las Vegas shortly after the Waco incident happened. There was this guy, who played poker in the rooms I played in, that wore a slew of Waco buttons. He was referred to as the Waco Wacko. I never teased him, nor joined in many conversations about him. But one day I spoke to him. And you know what? He was relatively normal. He just so happened to wear his belief system on his person--daily. Fast forward to today. I (we) am/are the new Waco Wacko(s). And proud to be (t)here.
