I bought some bitcoins back in 2011 at $0.50. Recently sold some on Virtex.
I'm currently waiting for my account there to be verified so that I can withdraw my funds (which are over the $3,000 limit). Does anyone know what their verification entails? I was told over the phone that it would two weeks (after I sold, unfortunately) and that an outside company does the verification. Why do they even need to do this for withdraws? It's not like I'm going to withdraw the money into a stolen bank account.
