Hi,

I mine litecoin for 6 months using pool-x.eu. Yesterday I saw that my 775 Ltc are gone. In transactions tracking, I can see that a manual transaction has been done along with address for withdrawal which I did not set.
It is very strange since I care very much about safety and pin is nowhere written. Since pin and password are both requested for the withdrawal, I can only assume that this has been done by someone operating the website or related.
I tried to contact owner via info on contact page, but e-mail address seems not to be operating, and he is not appearing on skype.

Any ideas ?

Hmm, what a bummer.  If you had a secure password and they support 2FA, you might want to wonder about the site owner.  Is the person running the pool reputable?

So pools are not safe ?
It is not about money...I have enough of bitcoins, it is more a matter of trust in pools. For sure nobody could know my pin but me OR someone connected with website.

Any time you do not control the private key of those coins they are not safe. The pool could steal them, or someone could hack them, you really won't ever know for sure.

So do you consider there is not even a point in trying to contact the owner? Since I go to that pool from one IP all the time, he can at least send me the IP address.

What good would that do you? Are you expecting to track this guy down and ask for the coins back? If the pool operator stole the coins, why would he not just tell you some fake IP address?

Your coins are gone, and there's nothing you can do to get them back if someone really took them. You might still e-mail the pool owner and see if he moved them for some security reason or something, but I doubt that is the case.

I auto checkout my coins as low as 5 coins to my wallet.

I wouldnt trust leaving lots of cons in a pool or exchange, especially with the recent rise in alt coins value.

Sorry for your loss.
