Hi folks, new user here. I did some GPU-based BTC mining back in '11 and thought I'd try my hand again, but with LTC and FTC.

Any suggestions on a GPU in the ~ $100 range good for this?

Thanks!

Not much in the $100 range worth messing with, unless you already have the machines to install them in?

You might be able to buy a 7870 for $100, maybe? Those have a hard time doing anything more than 400kh/s. They are being phased out, as well as 7950s. You might find a good deal, maybe. It's hard to even find 7950's for a decent price any more. The 280x is nearly the same price...

A 280X should get you to 675-750kh/s pretty easy. I've had at least 4 or 5 different models now and they all hash different. They start around $300, but most come with a BF4 copy now.

Please DO NOT send me private messages asking for help setting up GPU miners. I will not respond!!!
