https://blockchain.info/charts/n-transactions

https://coinbase.com/charts

Are the charts on both sites showing number of transactions between one address and another? So if I had a wallet and with 3 addresses and sent 1 bitcoin to the 2nd address and from there sent a bitcoin to the 3rd, would this count as 3 transactions?

They don't seem to match. For e.g. the peak transaction number around the 27th of Novembers shows 98k on coinbase but over 100k on blockchain.info. Why are these figures not the same?
