Mining alt coin on CPU

Hello everyone,

I'm quite new to Mining and I would like to know what alt coin should I mine on a CPU ?
I have an i7 3930K
I'm looking for non sha/scrypt based coins because they're only good for GPU miners
So far the only good coins I've found are Quark and Protoshares which give me about $6-8 a day.
XPM is aimed for CPU but i'm getting really low rewards at 18k primepersec

Any ideas ?

If you are making 6-8$ /day from cpu mining with a single cpu then i don't think that you can get any better than that...
I mean if you could people whould have to start buying cpus instead of gpus...

Not necessarily, the cheapest you can find an i7 3930K is about $600, and supposedly according to the OP makes $6-$8 a day.

A used $100 6950 can get ~650 Kh, bringing in about $15-$54 a day according to coinwarz.
