It's been 3 months since the last one was released.

Actually can someone explain to me how the priority works?

According to this transaction, the priority was much less than 57,600,000 enforced in the default client...

I did some calculations and apparently the transaction was only 60 days and yet the person was able to combine over 100 inputs...

I might try combining some of my dust which is over 180 days old.
